Privacy policy

Effective 28 October 2026. This policy explains what DecarbonizeX LLC, doing business as Driftwood Climate ("Driftwood", "we"), collects through driftwoodclimate.com and what we do with it.

The short version

We collect what you choose to send us through the contact form, plus the basic technical information every website receives. We use it to reply to you and to run our business. We do not sell it, we do not use advertising trackers, and this site sets no cookies.

What we collect

What you send us. When you use the contact form we receive your name, email address, company and message. If you email us directly, we receive your email and anything in it.

Technical information. Like any website, our servers and hosting providers receive your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We use this to keep the site running and to stop abuse of the contact form, for example by limiting how many messages one address can send.

Fonts. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google when you visit. Google's own privacy policy applies to that connection.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

How we use it

We use what you send us to respond to your inquiry, to keep a record of our conversation in our client relationship system, and to follow up about our services where that is relevant to what you asked. You can ask us to stop at any time.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that run our business on our behalf: website and application hosting, email, our client relationship and internal messaging tools. They may use it only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others. We do not sell or rent personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep contact details and correspondence for as long as we have, or may have, a business relationship with you, and as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations. Technical logs are kept for a shorter period.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, and you can ask us to stop contacting you. Email growth@driftwoodclimate.com and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, for example California or the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, you may have further rights under local law, and we will honour them.

Security and changes

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, but no website or service is completely secure. If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
