Know what climate can do to the assets you own.

Our team runs the assessment. We map the whole business, including its sites, suppliers, customers and the infrastructure it depends on, and check it against wildfire, extreme heat, hurricane wind, drought, flood and other hazards. You get our read on what it means and what to do about it.

A public location we read in Riptide, our internal platform. It isn't a client site. The rating describes how likely and how intense a fire would be. Damage depends on the buildings and how they're protected, which is what we ask management about.
Questions we answer
  • Which of this company's sites are exposed to climate hazards today, and which will be by 2050?
  • How exposed are its suppliers, customers, and the power, roads and water it relies on?
  • Could the shift to a low-carbon economy cut revenue or raise costs?
  • What should we ask management, and what would reduce the risk?
Profile

We start by finding the sites

Each one is found in public records, pinned on satellite imagery and traced to its boundary before we assess it.

What we do
Portfolio screening

One screen covers a whole pipeline or portfolio and shows which companies carry material climate risk.

Climate risk assessment

For diligence on one company, we assess every site, its value chain and the infrastructure it relies on. The report ends with questions for management and next steps.

Monitoring

The assessment is refreshed each year as sites and data change, with a note on what moved and why.

Scenario analysis and reporting

We run scenario analysis across the portfolio and turn it into TCFD-aligned disclosures for LPs and regulators.

How we run an assessment
  1. 01Screen

We work out which risks matter for this business, from its sector, footprint and value chain.

  2. 02Profile

We find the sites in public records and pin them on satellite imagery. Then we add key suppliers and customers, the power, roads and water the business relies on, and the inputs it buys.

  3. 03Assess

We assess every site and dependency for each hazard, today and under future climate scenarios, and cite the source for each reading.

  4. 04Advise

We write up the findings, questions for management and ways to reduce the risk. We review every report before it reaches you.

What you get

The report ends with what to do

The last pages list the questions for management and the steps that would reduce the risk.
